THE WOLLOMBI VALLEY SCULPTURE FESTIVAL

Sculpture in the Vineyards, Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival is now in its 19th year making it the oldest and largest not-for-profit sculpture event in Regional NSW.

The 2021 Festival will be held one month earlier than previous years, opening on Saturday September 11th and running for 16 days, including three weekends, till Sunday September 26th 2021.

The weather is much cooler at this time of the year and we know that the valley is at its most beautiful in early spring.

Last year’s festival was the biggest and most successful yet with 166 works from 103 national and international sculptors exhibiting.

EXCITING NEW PRIZE

For those who have been ‘watching this space’ we are thrilled to announce the exciting new prize which we have been working on.

The Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival Governor’s Prize

Government house

In partnership with the Governor of New South Wales, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, we are offering ‘The Governor’s Prize’ for the first time.

The winner of this prestigious award will have their sculpture displayed in the grounds of Government House, amongst other works from high profile sculptors, for 12 months at the conclusion of the Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival.

Sculptures entered in this category can still be sold during the festival and can also remain for sale in our Online Gallery whilst on display at Government House.

The prize will be awarded at the Festival Opening so anyone who buys the winning sculpture will know it is not available for 12 months but will no doubt be more valuable This is a fantastic opportunity for the winning sculptor to exhibit in a high profile location where their work will be seen by a large audience.
